At the franklin Institute I saw numerous science related things, such as a train,an Imax movie, and even got to cool down at Logan circle, watching kids & adults (and even a dog) play and run around in the water. The most exciting part of the trip was when we got to hangout in the brain, and trick yourself into thinking your hand is burning when its really hot and cold water. Then we got to hang out in a jungle gym that was a replica of the brain. In the sports room we threw baseballs and got to compete to see who threw the fastest pitch sadly will beat me by  3 mph

My time at the Franklin Institute was great. We saw many exhibits and cool shows along with them. We had an assignment to do that made us go to many exhibits to take pictures. But they were not just pictures they were certain kinds of pictures like extreme close ups, close ups, mid shots, wide shots, and long shots. We took pictures of Franklin Institute and of Logan Circle when we got there. When we came in we took pictures of the Ben Franklin Statue/Memorial. Then we started at the Circus to take close ups of things in the exhibit. This was the special exhibit of the year for 2014. We then went to see the heart to take wide shots. The exhibit has been there so long because I remember doing that exhibit in the 4th grade. Next, we went to the Air Room to take mid shots. There were simulators and paper airplane activities. The paper airplanes was my favorite part. We then went to the Locomotive or train room to take extreme close ups. They had a real life size train in the exhibit. After the train exhibit, we went to see an IMAX movie “Titans of the Ice Age” which was kind of cool. Afterwards, we went to the Sports Challenge room to waste time. I was clocked on the baseball radar at 68 mph. I played Soccer and tried surfing and tried figure skating. (Until I got dizzy) We then watched a show on fireworks and a show about liquid air (liquid nitrogen or dry ice). The firework show was cool because the person changed the color of fire with spray able soft metals like salt and magnesium. The liquid air show deflated a balloon and the balloon rose again. she also froze a rubber ball that broke on impact. there was cold nitrogen air all over the floor. I want to do some stuff like that. I had a fun time at the Franklin Institute and I highly recommend it for everyone to go.

My experience at The Franklin Institute was an amazing adventure and full of wonderment. My favorite part of the Institute was the Sports section of my adventure. The most informing section is “The Giant Heart” I learned about what really goes on in your Body , Blood, and Organs. I now know that Ants have the smallest hearts and that a person can survive 1 hour with his/her heat open due to surgery. Also I visited various places  Like the BIG Brain I learned that we do use 100 percent of our brain but it is only in sections.
